MICE Travel – Scotland

Arrive Edinburgh Airport – on arrival the group will be welcomed by a Piper in full Highland Dress and will play for the group as they get onto our coach which will be waiting for them. Coaches and Blue Badge guides will assist with the transfer to your city centre hotel. On your way into Edinburgh, enjoy a brief panoramic tour of this beautiful city, known as the Athens of the North. On arrival at the hotel where you will stay for the next 4 nights, enjoy a Welcome Drink whilst the guides assist with your check in. Dinner at the hotel and overnight. (D)

After breakfast meet your guide and coach at the hotel for a full day city tour of Edinburgh with a visit to the world famous Edinburgh Castle. Private Lunch in the Royal Scot’s Club or similar. In the afternoon enjoy a tour of the infamous Royal Yacht Britannia – now moored in Leith Docks. Return to your hotel in time to change for tonight’s activities. Tonight enjoy a Dinner in the Witchery Restaurant which is situated on the historic Royal Mile. After dinner you have the chance to enjoy a Ghost Walk and tour. Be aware of some surprises en route as you walk through the many small alleys/closes which the Royal Mile is famous for, each one holds a different chilling story. Return to your hotel for overnight. Separate Ladies and Gents AM visits Edinburgh – Gleneagles – Crieff – Edinburgh (0900/1800 Hrs). After breakfast today the programme will be separate for the ladies and the gentlemen in the group.

Enjoy a cooking lesson at one of the Edinburgh Cookery Schools, time to brush up on your skills and perhaps learn some new techniques too or alternatively – a VIP visit to the Edinburgh Woollen Mill, here the making of Scotland’s famous Tartan will be explained with the in depth story of why there are so many different ones! At the end of the visit each lady will receive a “Cashmere Scarf” as a token momento of their visit. They will leave the venue and head off to Gleneagles for Lunch, meeting up with their partners.

Today we leave Edinburgh behind and travel to the world class resort of Gleneagles… here you will enjoy a morning full of activities. You can choose from Golf Lessons or Shooting at the world class shooting Academy. Enjoy Lunch in Gleneagles along with your partners as the whole group will reunite. After Lunch we travel onto the Glenturret Distillery / Famous Grouse Experience. Enjoy a VIP guided tour of the distillery with the chance to sample 3 different Malts. Relax as we return to Edinburgh. Dinner tonight is in the Grill Room at the Dome or similar. Overnight. (B/L/D)

After breakfast your aches and English speaking guides will meet you at the hotel for a full day tour. Leave Edinburgh with our first stop at South Queensferry for a photo stop. Here you have the chance to view both the Forth Road Bridge and the Rail Bridge. Travel across the Forth Road Bridge and then up to Perth for a VIP visit of Scone Palace. After your tour, enjoy morning Coffee with shortbread in the tea room. Leave the Palace and travel East to the seaside town of St Andrews, known as the home of Golf. Enjoy a Barbecue Lunch at the Eden Clubhouse which overlooks the infamous Golf Course. After Lunch some time at leisure in this beautiful town before travelling along the coastline and through the many small and interesting fishing villages on the coast. Relax as we return to Edinburgh to get ready for this evening’s Dinner. Tonight enjoy a Gala Farewell Private Dinner at Edinburgh Castle Inclusions of the Crown Banquet: Exclusive hire of the dining venue, Flaming Torches on arrival, Private viewing of the Scottish Crown Jewels, Drinks and Canapes reception. Return to your hotel for final overnight. (B/L/D)

After breakfast morning at leisure in Edinburgh with our guides on hand to make suitable suggestions for any last minute sightseeing or purchases that may be required on own. Afternoon our Coaches and Guides will meet you at the hotel for the return transfers to Edinburgh Airport, taking with you wonderful memories of your stay in Bonnie Scotland !!! (B)
